Can i just say that were there in 2008 when I picked it up. I've been riding since then and they have ever changed. If that was a fracture in the metal it would have failed a long time ago. Never really wanted to take the paint off to have a look.

All fair, just had 4 different members asking, hope you don't mind I put up the pic, will remove it if you want, good luck with the sale.

cheers Roy,

ps: paint doesn't crack that way by itself, pretty sure the TT is at least bent (frontal impact?)

In response to Yo Heddy's post. Yes I did mind actually because I think that you posting that picture in my for sale thread mad me look like I was trying to sell a frame that was damaged. When I purchased the frame I had several people look at that because I didn't want to ride and end up with no front teeth. I would have never tried to sell the frame on this forum if for one minute I thought that there was a fracture under that paint crack. As you can see from the pics I posted there no fracture in the metal.

CH - although it can be annoying to have someone post up in your ad, and I am sure Roy didn't mean to imply you were pulling a fast one, it is always advisable with these sales to highlight any potential issues with photos or at the least a description. Even if it's extremely unlikely to be a problem, if there are the foundations of a possible problem, people ought to be made aware at least.

Most of us have bought and sold bikes and parts on here that have issues of some description, dents etc, it's just decent to highlight it in the listing. It's only fair to the buyer. And it will make your life easier as a seller as everything is up front and open.

Good luck with the sale, it's a lovely frame.

Sorry mate, never was my intention to doubt your honesty (you did send me the pics in the first place :D ). I just outed 'm to the public as I had several members asking me why I bailed out, the crack in the paint was a reason for me but might not be a problem to anyone else. Thanks for scraping the paint off to give a clear look, hope you'l find a buyer soon.
Cheers from Holland and no hard feelings from my side,
Roy
