That's the very same recording Reki. It was made to acompany Nick Mason and Mark Hales' book 'Into The Red'.
They'd had the car to Silverstone on three occasions (where the recordings of all the other cars in the book were made) but the bastard would not start despite hours of fiddling. It eventually ran for just two laps of Donnington although you can hear the misfire kick in just above 9000rpm- it should run to 12,000.
The car was a total disaster and was obsolete before it finished a race never mind won anything. That said, it was the turbo era of the late 70's though before a formla one car surpassed it's power output to cylinder capacity ratio; 26 years later to be exact! A remarkable car indeed.
