for £20 I couldn`t resist

I'd have been able to resist if it was £0 ;)

I think there was a bianchi or similar that had more tubes than necessary that looked like that.

One man's trash is another man's treasure they say.

jesus ******* H christ its hard work sometimes

a weird apollo is on trial for its merits by its peers on a public forum where anyone can comment.

a weird Puch was mentioned but not remembered

apparently outright criticism is not allowed anymore but Nazi cronies and chicken wanking is (CL... CU.... CL... CL.. CLUUUUUCK!!!! {quiet you!}) now acceptable

NO a members Apollo was ridiculed and then one of the ridiculers spammed the thread with a picture of his own bike to make the OP feel even worse about his bike...
Then tries the victim card because he feels hard done to,, BTW nobody mentioned the N word or beastiality - reported!

Easy tiger, Christ on a bike😳
While what you've written is amusing, it doesn't alter the fact that a new member has had a shitty welcome and the piss taken out of his bike. We wonder why cycling is on the demise, well go figure. Facilitate not denigrate.
If this is what a serious cyclist does, count me out.

Already thinking of a winter project & could not resist buying this bike locally for a mere £20......."what.......what" I hear you ask..............an Apollo ! ........Ok stop laughing............no really, C`mon, let me finish an Apollo Perpetual, I`d never heard of it, "Elevated frame technology" apparently, I just love the frame !

For £20 I think that’s a great value entertainment/experiment if it’s your first project. Taking it all apart, cleaning it up and putting it back together is a great way to learn. For £20 if it all goes wrong or you find you don’t enjoy it then nothing lost really. It’s not the most desirable or collectable but I guess that also means you can mess about with it without wrecking anything desirable. I coveted my mates Apollo with its triple triangle, he also had the frame triangle bag and a wheel disc cover. Happy days!
