Bring your FM radio and we'll give you a discount on something less reliable, worse performing and not likely to last more than a year before you have to buy a new one...

Utterly pointless... DAB is awfull unless you live in the southeast/ Londinium

I'd rather have an internet radio now over DAB.

What about the car? DAB is even worse here unless you've got a brand new car and commute in a good reception area.

I'm within line of site of our local DAB transmitter and struggle to receive DAB anywhere in the house.

AAAAAAAARGH!

The whole digital switchover is a farce.

I am forced into watching/listening to a lot of junk, in the name of "choice".

Most of which is trying to encourage me to gamble, or phone sex lines. What does that say about our society?

Need to go for a lie down now, I've overheated from my own self-righteousness.

dunno? Bring on DAB, rid me of FM.

My FM radios, and I have a number of them ranging from cheapos to decent are full of interference and lost signals, both at home and work. Need to constantly retune, reposition etc.
Dab works brilliantly, crystal clear and dont even need the aerials extended and the digital tuners are so much better than exact fettling with dials. In short, idiot proof and therefore for me

sounds like you get alot of interference from something, FM is pretty stable without having to retune - sure its not AM?

no, definitely FM. Sometimes I resort to finding something on AM when I get sick of the constant need to meddle. Me moving around makes it worse. I reckon RDS might solve it cos the car radio is good. And its at home and work with different radios.
DAB cures all.

Are you sure its not just you? RDS is only a data system and has nothing to do with reception - still
