I handed the electric end first to a work colleague whilst switched on.He hadnt seen it before and was eager to look at it so he causally reached out his hand......

badminton Racquet and wasps

I punch wasps .

A few weeks ago the workshop was swarming with the things ( wasps , not flys ) so all work would stop and we would all grab whatever spray was to hand . I can say that after extensive testing that disc brake cleaner is better than any other bike spray and even better than the proper raid stuff .

When i had pet spiders (black widows & a fake black widow) i used a small green fish net to catch fly's and the drop them in to the web. Some times they walked on them (very quickly)
Now i kill them with a flat palm easy

I spray them with degreaser and watch them squirm and burn...or parrafin on a wasp from a spray gun and then a match

My dad used to tie a knot in a rubber band and stand still till one landed and then ping it out of the air...great fun until one landed on the lighbulb and he pinged it smashed the bulb and tripped over the coffee table in the dark and smashed my mothers best picture frame

God had his revenge
