I'd like to fit V-brakes to my Kona but there is no cable stop at the rear is it possible to get an attachment?

U would still need a cable stop for Canti's, these had a stop clamped around the seat tube, you can buy aftermarket stops that fit in this area, but is there not a stop on the rear of the top tube?

What clamps around the seat tube is a cable guide, not a cable stop. The cable ran with a bare inner all the way from the front stop on the top tube to the straddle wire hanger and the guide was basically just to get it round the seat tube.

You can buy clamp-on cable stops or you can drill out the cable guide (if you have one) to accept a stepped cable end ferrule. Someone here posted a few pics of this but I don't remember who it was unfortunately...

Why not run a full length outer casing from the lever to the brake, held with cable ties to the frame for the moment.

Not pretty, but it would keep you going till you get a clamp bracket or a stop welded on.
