Nice bike! The Lawwill fork, which I helped develop and name, actually works great and will work a little bit better if you add a brake bridge brace in front of the front brake. To the doubters out there, the Lawwill fork, with it's upward slanting leading links, will climb up and over a 6 inch curb without any upwards tug on the bars, due to it's geometry. It also has the unique feature that the amount of trail never changes on the ground, no matter how compressed it is, unlike a slider fork whose trail shortens as the fork compresses, thus making it more squirrely in the really rough stuff.
Pictures?

Here's Deelam's one, which I've got now:

All the best,

The Lawwill Leader brings back some memory's when I was working at the Benelux importer for Rock Shox. We had a Leader standing in the corner but the shock was missing.. Every day I walked by this lonely fork..... Quite frustrating!

Re:

Yes,
It was a Phil Drum on the first red prototyp, riden by Gary Fisher himself in durango

Worn pads :? preemptive HA!
The routing in the first pic looks really tight , probably has more to do with anything :? and the main spring could do with being rewound tighter :? Plus the spring between the actuating arm would assist its return.

Closed system with no adjustment, so the fluid heats up on a long downhill
What long downhills ? :? I remember some cross country type hills but nothing in the way of 'downhills'

Down grassy slope perhaps

using a round file, you should be able to open up the slot in the guide to route the cable through it.
