Guys/Girls, just joined the site. I have a CR7 that I rode the entire length of Australia on in 1990. Would dearly love to restore it. Any advise on where I could get hold of the original decals? I were shot blasted off in the desert.

The bike was purchase in Australia after my Marin was stolen in a Backpackers. When I got it home it went into the attic and hasn't been ridden since so other then one epic adventure it structurally sound. Any advise gratefully accepted.

I have a red CR7 with Pace RC30's, a Syncros seatpost, Answer Atack stem, a beautiful Mavic headset, 8 speed XT thumbshifters and the standard bottom bracket.

It was my first proper mountain bike which I bought back from a friend last year. However I have four other mtb's and am under pressure to downsize!

Frame isn't immaculate in terms of marks to the paintwork but there are no dents or digngs. If anyone is interested, I can upload pics. Based in West Sussex.

Sorry for the delay in responding folks - I'll post up something properly in the next few days. 19" from memory. As you can see it needs a bit of tlc, but it's not dented or damaged at all. Marks on the head tube are from tape residue, they can straight off after I took the pic:
