Well the sun was shining, the freshly (almost) finished Roberts was begging to be taken out for a pootle and my recently smashed body didnt put up any resistance to the idea.
So I met up with a couple of my local mates and set off for a sunday of pootling around Oxford city interspersed with food, beverages and plenty of laying around in the sun in the college parks.
What made the biking so much better was it was the first time i've been out on a bike since breaking my left clavicle (collar bone) a rib and getting my self a nice bout of internal bleeding after crashing on a DH run at the forrest of dean. So after 4 weeks to the day, it felt fantastic!
I shall not be pushing myself too hard just yet though
I was also pleased earlier in the week, to hear that it now says "broken clavicle sustained in a spectacular mountain bike crash" on my hospital records
Pictures of the Roberts and a Sunny days ride to follow.
