First ride on retro carbon

Nice job , collar bone is no fun though, did mine back in 93, just at the start of a nice summer, off the bike through all the nice weather :roll:, did'nt get any fancy titanium in it though, just a sling so it healed like a broken twig

Did Tomac not ride one of these in his latter Giant era? Or was it the alloy ones only?

Either way nice frame. I also like my old school carbon, love the ride on my mid 90s OCLV.

Just found this the other day, frame looks very similar to me (maybe he raced alluminium, trained on a carbon ?), skip to 1.35 past the cheesy, annoying intro, worth a watch, his riding (and the trails) looks amazing.

Oh yeah, it does look more like an MCM than an alloy frame.
