A couple of things.....it's got a race number peg, internal cable routing, vertical dropouts, all consistent with a high end frame...
It's also got the maxi sport logos on the top tube.......the front wheel looks like a wolber tx profil, all consistent with team frames.....
However the raleigh logos are black, that's a bit strange......
Amyway here's hoping you have unearthed a wee gem!
Where did you get it? It must be from France? Raleigh did do team frames for the French market with the same sticker design but the colours were different......

I think the Reynolds stickers are 531 Restoration, so even more of a conundrum!!Lemond75":3cowixqs said:Assuming the tubing stickers are correct and it is Reynolds 531 then it's perhaps unlikely to have been a Super U or Castorama team frame as I think they only used 753. However, because of the Maxi Sport logo and the race number it could perhaps be an ACBB team frame as they were on Raleighs during the same era. I remember Matt Stephens riding one during the Milk Race when he was on international duty as part of the GB team.
Nice bike, wherever it originated. Had a Dyna Tech in the same colour scheme many moons ago - wish I'd never sold it!
Rusted through!!kettlo":15hgm0wt said:That's a pity! What was wrong with the frame Matt, I know the right chain stay was well rusted. Sad to see a quality frame as scrap....
