Finding year of manufacture

Hi guys , is there any site or info leading to tracking down the exact year of manufacture of my IBIS, have had a look on the net and cannot seem to find anything...

Hi,

Referring to your other post in which you said it could very well be '98: I do not think it is '98. By 1998 the Handjob was for sure gone, maybe already in 1997 or even 1996.

In generally I think age can be made pretty likely by factors like:
- original equipment (Shimano has date codes for example)
- dimensions like headset diameter, rear end spacing...
