Well it took me forever to get around to getting these done, but finally i now have period correct decals for the frame & forks, many thanks to Gil M for another cracking job. Yes it's still got the "heavy arsed tyres & wonky bars" but that's just how i like it. :D

That is really beautiful!
It still is one of my favorite bikes of all times.

Keep up the good work!

That is an awesome looking bike, and I have one I plan to do the same with the one I bought recently. I've got a couple of questions if you don't mind helping me out:

- What discs are you running. I've got some hope discs and want to run them, and it looks as though you have an IS mount on the front - how did you get one of these? Amp and Hope are all out.

- Decals, mine has a similar set to yours, though with white borders. I know that mine are repro's, so are yours what the bike would have come with?

- Do you happen to know the diameter of the seatpost? I don't have verniers so it is difficult for me to take exact measurements.

I bought mine a few months ago from the forum and am planning an XTR M95x buils, as I have soime of this lying around, but the kicker is that I want to run discs, and without a mount for the front (I have a rear one I think), I'm a bit scuppered. I can run Pace forks, but this somehow doesn't seem right, especialy as I have 2 sets of AMP forks kicking about, and i've never had an opportunity to ride them.

Cheers

Hi Ian,

I run AMP discs front and rear using AMP parts and an XT rear hub, see pic below.

Decals are how AMP's came up to about '96 I did the artwork & Gil M did the decals, he should have them on file now.

Seat post is 31.6mm, ControlTech is my favorite (and recomended in the AMP manual) there's one on the 'bay at the moment
