Finally a happy retro road bunny

After a few years of buying duff bikes or getting tucked up with old tat, I've finally got me a usable oldie.
Went for a buy it now from Ebay, £199 secured me the offer. And I've just opened the box.
I can't tell if it's Columbus, but the frame is very nice though well used with touch up paint here and there. It has a cut out shell, Heart lugs, internal top tube guiding and lovely chrome forks and chainstay. Spending it's entire life in Italy has helped.
The gear is all 600/600EX six speed and running sweet. It has FIR EA60 rims on 600 hubs, a Concor saddle and Modolo bars and stem.
It's very light.
This is to be my winter trainer, so Race Blades are going on and my Brooks Swift. Not sure if to put on some modern Shimano Dual pivots I have.
Happy and off to buff some things

More Sir

You cant tease us like this
Pics please
Its nice to hear the excitment of a new ride.
Jamie

Had a spin around the block and had a bit of a shock. Those pesky Continentals with their brake levers the wrong way round
So it has it's bar tape off right now and is still in it's years of greasy grime.
Pics tonight.

At least you found that out whilst riding round the block not, like I did, whilst descending a steep road towards a hairpin with a rockface on one side, a steep drop on the other and a bus coming towards you....
