Hand crafted excellence, not cheap but the attention to detail is fantastic.....

"Each one-of-a-kind Vanilla begins with a vision or dream and is the result of hours of filing, polishing, measuring, cutting and brazing - every frame is designed and hand built by Sacha."

Give me a break, time to wake up and smell the coffee Sacha, put the scented candle's away, stub out whatever it is your smoking and build us a friggin mountain bike. You've got the talent boy now use it!

Beautiful and pointless. You would blub the first time you scratched it. As a thing to hang on a wall, yes please; as a bike they are too perfect and you would spend your life looking after it.

Suppose it is like some of the prettier bikes on here though, not meant to be ridden, and that is OK too.

Stu,

There are more than can be listed...are you looking for Europe or US based, mountain or road?

Ok,

Here would be my top three if I was going to commission a Fillet Brazed bike from a current builder.

1.) Steve Garro of Coconino Cycles...super guy, simple clean builds, and LOVES his fillet brazed bikes

www.coconinocycles.com

2.) Fred Cuthbert of Wolfhound Cycles... another great guy, beautiful artistic eye and micro fillets with lots of fine transistions

www.wolfhoundcycles.com

3.) Dren Guldalian of Engin Cycles...a relatively new builder but Drew has some real skill to be thrown around. Nice fillets with an eye to function.

www.engincycles.com

I too love to fillet braze, but these three guys do quite a bit more than I and have made it their preferred method (Drew is a bit more diverse)

Can't go wrong with any of them.

cheers,

rody
