Fillet brazed Woodrup circa 1989

That’s v. Cool. Centaur was 89 90 and I guess a bit roadie crossover (I have Centaur hubs that are 130mm and screw on freewheel). What are your wheels?

Agree with jimo on the fashion absolute necessity of running a short cage mech back then, of course balanced by a looong stem (Nitto MTB-3 I think - made for Specialized - lush and has a nice drilled hanger. I use one on my Stumpie.)

Also, was fillet brazed Prestige a U.K. quirk? I can only think of this and Swallow where I’ve seen it done: anyone know of others?

Super find. 😎
Think you are correct about the stem.

Nice little detail on the cable guide and a picture of the tyre clearance with the 2.5 GC Extremes

Sweet: is the clover leaf a nod to colnago? And why is it dripping with campy? Woodrup Italian connection? Custom order for a Colnago fan?
Incidentally, that’s a big tyre and still has *some* clearance: and it looks like the chainstays are not crimped outside or inside, but are bent and ovalised. For some reason I always rate non crimping as good frame building skill.
