i dunno about the shilling, but comparing the advert with teh catalogue, the drop outs are different and looks like the one on ebay is using a seat collar, plus the welds around the headtube dont look quite as nice as in the catalogue.
no reason to doubt its not one tho, he doesnt make a point of it in the advert, just a bit odd, diff year maybe?
might go for it if they sort the dodgy bidding out, its in my neck of the woods

they are two completely different frames - the ebay one does have the 853 decal though but different drop outs, different stays, different type of cable stops.

i noticed those things too, but just thought the catologue picture was taken of a prototype, you notice how in the catologue they have put canti brakes on but with no canti brake hangers?

i wasnt surprised to see a different frame of the same model from dawes is what i mean

where is the fillet brazing on this frame? I see TIG welds, or do my eyes deceive me?

Was tempted by this myself, great looking frame and forks, But YELLOW :?
Would seem a shame to buy and recoat.

£103 was cheap when you compare it to a Kona!
