Do you think that was their doing or woodrup just bought some prefab forks in then painted

Hard to know, but I suspect the latter. Probably just fitted some Tange forks.
Also, they look a bit bent in the photos, but it's hard to tell. I imagine that there will be two sets of people - those that are interested in the groupset and those that are interested in the frame
But it's collection in Middlesbrough. I went there once, which was enough. The Transporter Bridge is cool though
It does look a bit odd at the fork headtube area. As you say it could just be the picture but the head angle looks very steep.
Asked the seller if he could send some measurements before I place a bid (which is already quite high now and nearing what I was willing to spend anyway…) and he sent back photos of the bike lying rear mech down on the pavement with a tape along the seat tube and the wheel base (I think he’s confused it for when I asked for the top tube measurement). Asked if he’s owned it long and he said a mate gave it to him to restore but he’s selling it now and split the proceeds. Might be legit but I have a questionable feeling about it. Anyone asked some questions and felt re assured it’s not missing from someone’s shed?

I would say that you would have to be pretty brazen, or daft, to put a stolen bike on eBay, especially something as distinct as this, as transactions are traceable....but you never know...
There is something odd about the way he is showing the bike if he was in any way associated with restoring bikes though - or maybe that's just my OCD

It was good value early on, a rare frameset indeed but i fear that already too much money.
