I have in the shop a timewarp early 80's gold claude butler magestique with lovely blue high quality foam grips (drop bars BTW) but it has one of those horrible black plastic brooks saddles doesn't match at all. So what saddle compliments this period, cheapish (a brand new leather Brooks is out) that is female friendly, white cable shrouds detailed.

I don't know how well this would work for women, it's not women specific, but it's wider than the average men's racing saddle: http://www.spacycles.co.uk/products.php ... amp;i=3283. I have a Spa Cycles Aire leather saddle and I'm really pleased with it, the quality is at least as good as the Brooks I have.

San Marco Rolls: http://www.tweekscycles.com/Product.do? ... gn=Saddles, again not a women's saddle, but they've been around since the 80's, I had one years ago. Not good in the rain though, water soaks through the leather top and into the foam underneath, so it's like sitting on a wet sponge. :?

Funnily enough I have just got a Rolls saddle, I have only just been able to collect it from the sorting office ( which is 20 miles away)
