Female forum users?

Hi

My name is Alison and I confess to being a female forum user., hidden behind my username. Did not know how a woman would be taken on the forum :D

From me, just the same as everyone else Alison, but others might answer the above quote in a different way entirely :)

Id like to think its an unbiased site/non stereotypicalist but the 'banter' can get a bit errrr out of hand sometimes with fair warning though.

Indeed. It's always well worth remembering that what you say amongst your mates down the pub, isn't always necessarily that acceptable on an internationally viewable forum with a diverse range of members and readers.

I think it's great having women on the forum, even if there aren't to many! My partners into retro bikes, she rides a 00 Specialized FSR with M950 and what have you, also has a Klein Rascal that I'm doing up for her, and she just bought a Klein Quantum with Gator Fade paint and full original Dura ace. She doesn't like new bikes...
But you would never catch her on a forum though...

We compensate up here with lots of skirt-wearing-blokes :P

Last time I was racing the Corrieyairack I was passed by numerous younger (and some not so young), fitter and capable women. Equality is real in my book and should hold for everyone :D

My girlfriend is definitely NOT into retro mtbs...

Let her borrow my Hei Hei once, she put a shopping basket on it and complained that the handlebars were too low
