After a bit of "discussion"
on fatcogs.com, I have spoken to my local machining company with a view to getting some replacement BB spindle collars manufactured for the Fat Chance pressed-in bottom brackets, as I understand that they're nigh-on impossible to find!
The price for them would be £10/$20/€15 each, depending on where you are, plus local postage costs. This price is based on a minimum run of 40 collars, so I'm just gauging interest at the mo to see if there's enough demand.
The collars will be made from 6082-T6 alloy (very similar to 6061-T6) and will be silver hard anodised. The locking screws will be included, and will be 10-32UNC thread, as per the originals. I'm also looking into being able to supply replacement BB bearings as well, to make a full overhaul kit.
Anyone interested?
