Really neat build. As said from Prodigal Son it's really functional. I could see myself coming down to the starting line with this....back in the day or now.

One question I have: when did Yos move to 1 1/8 headtube?

I never managed to pin point this by looking at their catalogues or I missed it if it's mentioned there.

Also, pretty amazing to see this thread coming back to life after all these years!

They switched to the larger head tube when production moved to Saratoga NY. FAT closed ops in Somerville in Oct 94. They move a lot of tubing and part built bikes to NY and finished them off and used up the earlier tubing on builds. I have seen Yos/Ti still using 1” head tubes into 96. So the switch to larger head tubes ‘seems ‘to have occurred fully around 97.
