Fat Chance Ti 😳

It’s the ‘93 that has the external butting.
The 94 Tis onwards have fully externally double butted main tubes. 91 protos, 92s and 93 usually had a mix ( top of seat tube ) but some of the late production 93 have more butts ( there is variation out there ) but they had welded gussets and a BB sleeve as limited production was an ‘evolving process’ with butting all done by hand on a lathe. This is all documented on Fatcogs. This was a very time consuming expensive process, hence why FAT Ti frames were usually the most expensive of their time. By ~ 96/97 Ancotech had developed mostly internal double butted tubing in house made to FCC specs.
