I had just this issue with the Yo I bought. It too had a BB inspection window, which whilst handy was expertly fixed by Lee Cooper who replaced the whole seat tube. Check out the build history on my Yo, It’s so well done I doubt you’d ever know. Oh, and Lee made me some BOI forks too. I know he’s stacked out at the mo, but I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. If I remember correctly he has a second set of 1 1/8 BOI forks which he made at the same time he did mine and these might still be up for grabs. Lee trained under Bromwich, his work is excellent and you can find him easily on the inter web. Let me know if you need things collected or packaged up as I’m local to him. Peace and love, H.

I got Lee to make my set after seeing yours.

he does still have the 1 1/8 ones.

I’m selling mine in eBay attached to a white Yo but would sell at cost if anyone wants them. He’s stacked at the mo so not likely to be making any more any time soon.
He’s done loads of jobs for me and is excellent.
