the assumption you are big means you must be fat is the simple missanoma
I've always worked out at a gym since 16 and being 6ft 3 , the build has been size appropriate but has always meant I am a tidy size between 16-18 stone depending on the weight regime and certain jobs that benefit from the need for a larger bulk.
I suspect some in here are also big, which is why I raised the question about the best tyres for the manly size men and it's good to see some were thinking along the same lines.
The thicker sidewalls is something I'll look into..I remember many years ago road tyre wise using schwalbe marathons but off road I'll dig around a bit
