I've never seen another, straight from 1990
This must be one of the first attempts at a 'hybrid' style bike and its age and classic MuddyFox decals add a massive dollop of retro cool, in my eyes at least.
Essentially road geometry (size 56cm) with wide 700c rims and an MTB group set, its a very capable touring, tow path style bike.
Full Suntour XCT groupo, with exception of excellent period correct XC Pro rear mech that I added after original was damaged in transit.
I bought this with a view to commuting on something different, and it certainly a lovely smooth ride with the 32mm tyres.
The old school Suntour groupo is in great working order, in fact the whole bike only looks to have covered a couple hundred miles in its life. The original brake blocks are virtually unworn as are both rims.
The bike does have signs of use/storage etc, chips, some bubbling under the paint on the fork, along with a couple rusty bits, as if it were stored in a miserable bike shed for a while but as you can see, overall its still very presentable and smart for a 20+ year old.
The original saddle still holds its logo's and has no scuffs!

Ive given her a good once over, trued the wheels, serviced the headset, and she's ready to roll.
Just £85 collected SOLD PP for the old girl, or happy to discuss delivery options. Based in Surrey. Cash on collection or paypal gift please.

weird, the last pic isn't upside down in my album?..

My former Boss claims to have invented the hybrid! He says it was he who first put the 700s onto a MF Courier frame (albeit with a drum up front) and rode it round - he was responsible for assembling all of 'On Your Bike's Foxes at the time and the MF rep apparently saw it and decided it was a good idea - there are I should think elements of truth in this, although I'm sure it was thought up at the same time elsewhere too.
