Falcon Proline - Dating and Info

Hey all,
I just got this bike this morning, and I realise it's not the best in the world, however I quite like it and will make it my main 'rider'.
I am still interested in its history however... So, any info on falcon, or the bits on the bike would be appreciated
The frame number is: E607879
The frame is Reynolds double butted CR-MO, and has quite a few shimano Exage parts (hubs, derailleur, shifters(?))
Anyways, here are some photos

These stronglight cranks seem ok, but the rings are horrible stamped out steel

Is this better than or worse than a Shimano 600 (old decorative one)

The decals all look fairly modern

These shifters are nice since they can switch between friction and 7spd indexed

The brakes are meh.. no idea what they are

'Pro Star' Levers and hoods, probobly cheap but hoods ok condition

'HSIN LUNG' Drop bars, ???

Sakae stem, not damaged

Kalin modern type seatpost

Rigida Rims, look like nice alloy rims, shame about the spokes

Made in England.. can't be too bad

Someone was clearly bothered about being seen... I will probs sell these so if anyone wants them, contact me..

I like that a lot. Early nineties date maybe? I can never tell with Falcons...

The shimano exage 300ex rear derailleur is 1990-1999, so i'd say you are right.
Also, based on the reynolds tubing sticker, the logo has a strike through it which indicates 1989-1994.

So, 90-94 I'd say, still, the stronglight crankset is very odd, and the niceish looking bars turn out to be steel with a alu shim...
