Fake Flite Titanium?

So strange!
I saw a similar leather pattern on a Turbo saddle.
The frame, leather, and decals look almost new. The rails are not titanium because the finish is very different.
I know that in the early nineties they were produced with titanium and vanadium rails, but I don’t remember any other materials.
How much does it weigh? Any other information in the sales listing?

There was one of these on the RC200 i bought.. it had been on the bike from new apparently?

Stamped 96 so i had no reason to doubt.

Rails were Ti

I swaped it out for a regular leather version.

While I've always assumed that early Flite's were titanium that may be not the case. This extract from an article I found on Road.cc hints at otherwise:
"The Flite design hasn’t stood still by any means. Selle Italia added silicone gel inserts in 1991 to help absorb vibration and introduced titanium rails as an option the following year to lower the weight and increase strength."

Taking that as gospel would indicate your saddle @Soundifferent is a rare late run steel railed version that some cheeky chappie has added a titanium transfer to. All supposition on my part of course!
