Fake Flite Titanium?

Maybe šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Original Flites had quite a small gap (in height) between the seat and the rails, but this looks like it has a larger gap more akin to the re-issue Flites on the market.
Perhaps lower end '90's models had a larger gap?

I’d say it’s definitely not a flite base.

Even the reissue ones aren’t as high (both versions)

I’m surprised there isn’t t a selle italia section in the archive?

Isn’t it just a recovered lower model Selle Italia saddle from 93? They did lots of models that had the same or similar shape but not Ti

You can buy iron on decals easily.
if it was cheap enough , who cares? looks perfectly serviceable and pretty well made, someone cared enough to put a date of manufacture stamp on the original so it is probably a reputable brand. I have found several FEC saddles to be lighter than ti ones btw.
good buy

I’ve not seen any mention of price paid.

But if I purchased a Ti Flite at market value and i received a Frankensaddle I’d not be happy.

The OP cares since he started the thread to ask.

Hi, I recently made this impulse buy. Forgot to check it out, turns out it’s not what the seller claimed and there’s nothing I can do about it. I know, I’ve been a fool but now I’m curious: what is it?
The rails are magnetic = not titanium
It has a ā€œ93ā€ stamp = not new
Shame on me for being a Tit(anium) at least it looks good and I will be using it on some bikeā€¦šŸ˜
