Fade paint jobs for a fat; inspire me (stars n stripes?)

Having confirmed I can get a fade job done for next to nothing from a friend of the family, I'm looking for ideas for my yo eddy. I have posted another thread about this, but that was more along the lines of should I respray it at all, but I've decided that I will, so looking for inspiration, ideas, pictures of what you would consider to be awesome fade paint jobs that would suit.

I've trawled rb and seen a similar thread but nothing really grabbed me so looking for other options. So far I'm liking the second grove here:

I read through that one before posting this thread, a bit lacklustre, though there was one nice fat in there with the orange fade.

Any other fine examples of fades you all want to share?

I once owned a green Peugeot frame that had some surface rust, i sanded areas of it down to a bright yellow undercoat which blended nicely with a somewhat faded green!
