Is it time for this crap again ! didn't it just finish :(

i agree too, hence why i dont watch it

I gave up many years ago . Shame really as it sounds like something that should be awesome but whenever I bother to try and watch I only manage a few mins before I'd rather stare at the wall for excitement .

If you manage to enjoy f1 then your a very special kind of mentalist that should probably be locked away from everyone else

yeah it didnt finish long ago  . my dad and his mrs are avid fans of f1, have been to most tracks at some point and theyre pretty normal although f1 cant be interupted! they dont answer the phone and such

TBH, I'd rather watch rallying. At least that's more demanding than driving a 200mph computer where the efficiency of the pit crew is probably more of a determing factor on the outcome than the skill of the driver.

thats what i said when the f1 was on. rally is so much more interesting because it can and will go any way, not a one horse race such as when michael schumacher was around. its much less predicatble too!

.

My god that was boring. Removing the refuelling has made it even more predictable than it was before. Shame for Vettel, thought he was home and dry.
There aren't many forms of motorsport which do 150-200 mile races and you can't count the number overtaking moves on one hand, well maybe two hands :D Dull, dull, dull.

Rallying interesting?? Back in 1985 maybe. Now it's so boring to watch I use it to get the kids to sleep.
Not a 'One horse race'? 'Not like when Schumacher was about'? 'Not predictable?' Are we talking about rallying still? Erm, mmmmm, I wonder who will win this week, erm, I know! It could be Sebastian Loeb or maybe Sebastian Loeb? There are only two manufacturers left too which makes it like watching scalectrix racing. The coverage on TV has even managed to make it look even more boring- an incredible feat in itself.

If you don't think rallying is predictable how would like to wager a grand against the title going to Loeb and Citroen again? That should make it interesting.

WRC-It's a joke.

Don't worry. Gets some beers in the fridge and get ready for the 12hrs of Sebring next Saturday. More overtaking than you can shake an overpaid german with a big chin at. No Audi's this year so should be a very interesting race.

I'd rather get out and watch some oval racing , race it like you stole it

Shame the cars look shite now :(

so here's some old stuff

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Phbc-11m ... re=related

f1 would be mildly interesting if the top qualifier had to start at the back and earn that place at the front . It's what you want to see from racing , the top guys having to pass slower cars all the way to the finish . gotta love Barry Lee taking everyone on the outside  I think hes involved with carts now .

I like the return of fast pitstops, reminded me of 1988... and the way the cars handled...er well the new teams... they handled liekthe cars from 88, all over the place...
I love F1, but these days... well i think if they get rid of fuel then they should run either a super super super soft and do maybe 4 or 5 stops OR a super super supoer hard ... or something... I say free up engines, run whatever, V8,V10,V12 or turbo, that'll mix it up...

and rallying, I am a HUGE fan, but rallying was great early 80's till late 90's... the 1st WRCars didn't ruin it, but by 2000 it was all computers and smooth driving rather than power and skill.

Has the higest level of each branch of motorsport has been transformed into a yawn? The balance between the technology of the vehicles, and the personality / skills of the drivers is skewed too heavily away from the direction that could result in entertainment.

It's like the gap between the fantasy of fighter pilots and the reality - in truth they are a bunch of very boring people who do things by the book and act like automatons whenever I have seen them interviewed.

You LIE!!!!! :x

I've seen the documentary............
