This is a 1992 custom made 531st F.W. Evans used for loaded touring and CTC club runs. The basic design remained unchanged from the 50s till they stoped making there own bikes, this is one of the final batch of 12 bikes they made. It was baught from the branch in Waterloo, London at the time the shop was a unoffical meeting point for Cycle Tourists, looking to travel all over the world, many a tail was told, some taller than others. At a guess this frame has around 75000miles+ in it.
Over the last year it has been striped and powder coated, and is now used as a shopping/post office & around town bike. Built as a SS for ease of use and the fact I can ride on the flat for hours with out getting a hill.
Fits like a glove and is a pleasure to ride.
