For sale is a vintage mountain bike wheelset, 26 inch diameter, rim width is 22.4 mm.
The wheelset has been rebuilt with new Wheelsmith nipples on vintage Wheelsmith spokes and rims. They are laced on vintage White Industries hubs. The rear has a titanium axle and the front is steel. Very light weight set. All the components are early 90's vintage ('cept the nips).
The rims are used with scratching. Aesthetically, in good condition. Structurally, very good to excellent condition. Definitely has thousands of miles still in them. The front hubs have been rebuilt with Enduro Max bearings, the rear have the original White's bearings. Both are in excellent condition, smooth as butter. The hubs are meant to last a lifetime with new bearings every now and then
