For sale Orbit/Sirius Cyclo X frame.
Size is 20 inch seat tube 22 inch top tube
This was supposed to be one of Roger Hammonds frames from the Worlds in Leeds in 1992, but extensive research shows this to be incorrect.
Frame has 753 stickers and have no reason to believe that it is not. Forks have 531 stickers.
Paintwork has various scratches but it is 19 years old now.
Comes with a really nice cartridge alloy headset.
Being an older X frame it will not take modern wide X tyres, 28mm being the widest at the rear.
Rear end has 128mm spacing.
£150 posted in the UK
will post abroad for extra carriage

The only caveat I would insert here is that Orbit & Sirius were never 753-certified builders which suggests the tubing may not be 753, unless it's an outside job or restoration badged up as one of theirs.
Nice frame though (and proper CX gear cable routing to boot) - if it wasn't way too small for me I'd give it serious thought!

Orbit X frame

Just because people were not certified to build 753 did not mean that you could not build it.
I used to buy 753 tubing and was not certified.
Also Roger Hammonds 753 X bikes were built by Orbit/Sirius. See the article in Cycling Weekly 10th October 1992.
Roger Hammond used to work there whilst doing his degree in Birmingham University.
Will take offers on the frame as its gathering dust in my garage.

Hang on ... I'll just go to my Cycling Weekly Back Catalogue Library.

I've you've got a copy, scan it in. I'm intrigued.

Fifty quid posted? (Serious but potentially cheeky offer) :)

Apologies, by the way - no attempt to stifle getting your frame sold was intended.
