F MOSER leader ax frame, the one used by Bugno in 1991

i love this frame, if it is was my size i would buy it (even though i can't afford it)

this one is the more rare and stunning pink colour option, the more common version has green where this one is pink. if memory serves the pink version was because Gianni Bugno one the Giro on it.

Lovely looking bike frame , pleased it's not my size . Has I think stem type expander for the seatpost . Bugno won using a Moser frame in this colour scheme , and I think a pink one with blocks of the purple/blue colour on the main tubes . Not many of these around now , especially in a 58cm

always thought bugno was a class rider.with back to back worlds wins and a totally dominant win in the giro he was a great rider. and he must have been really pissed about mr and mrs indurain having a early night,or he would probably won a couple of tours too

I second that , saw him win the 1990 Wincanton classic in Brighton . The first classic I saw . My Chateau D'Ax top faded to buggery when I had one .

yeah i like this frame, a friend has one the same as this, he was a massive Bugno fan, had the bike, the kit etc, he still has it but it's sat unbuilt in his loft, again his one is too big for me otherwise i'd offer him money for it.

i liked bugno, one of my favourite things about him was when he got knocked off by a spectator, he then hit the spectator with his front wheel!

What size is your friends frame JohnnyBoy ? Could he be parted from it do you think .
To be fair , Bugno was onl trying to straighten the wheel on the spectator

i think it's a 56cm, but a big one he's about 6'1" so i think it's c-c so more like a 58cm.

bearing in mind i have maybe 6 months more work where i am and he works at the same place it might be for sale, i'll ask him, but i'd be surprised if he sells it and if he does he'll want over the odds for it (to an unrealistic point) because he thinks stuff is worth more than it is, had a conversation about the value of stuff a while ago and he thinks that his stuff has gone up in value :roll:
