F MOSER leader ax frame, the one used by Bugno in 1991

The bike from "Winning" magazine was presented to the Shimano museum in Japan. They built it up to showcase their new Sti levers.
Bugno normally used downtube levers even into 1992 on his Bianchi. I think the Shimano Dura Ace groupset looks great on it too and the funny thing is if you think of a lot of the italian bikes in the 90's, a lot were equipped with Shimano and I think they looked great.
Mapei - colnago, Gatorade -Bianchi, Ariostia - colnago. Pinarellos, De Rosa and Gios always looked better in campag though, have to admit that!

I think the 1991 and 1992 tours were some of the best ever.

Yes I liked the early Indurain years too . There seem to be a lot of Banesto/replica frames for sale coming out of Spain .
Johnny boy , I had an early set of those Cosmics , with silver spokes . They sounded awesome . Wish I hadn't sold mine . Coppi
looks better in yellow IMO

I wish I'd bouhgt that frame now  Funny how thw mind works isn't it . I'm sure another one will come along though . Maybe in Chateau D'ax colours . The other 1990 paint job can be seen on youtube of Bugno winning Milan-San Remo . Classy ride 8)
