Yes, they are very durable, I can vouch for that.

I have quite a few installed and use them frequently.
And not just me, my kids use them too.
The last one I put on my Kastle XC 900 F was a first-generation unit that I've had since 2001 and it's still working perfectly.
I have a 10S version that I've been using every weekend for the last two years on my Rocky Mountain Element SC and it's fantastic.

Overall, I have almost the entire Grip Shift range; I love them.
