Explosif [U.K. eBay]

so what do we recon? £250...£300...£350??
I kept this photo of a frame that was on eBay a few years ago. It's a 95 frame with 96 decals. There do appear to be a few of these about (Messiah has one), so I'm sure the paint and decals are original.

So we have there an Explosif frame, a 1996 triple-butted P2, a Control Centre, what looks like a 96 Velocity, a titanium Bontrager/Titec bar, some bar ends and a bottom bracket.

I was delayed getting home and so was too late to put in a bid.

It sold for £95.

you say a few years ago..was that when ebay/retrobike was in its infancy..because as "Retrokona" says  bargin

Ernie

No one concerned that the chainset is still on it...although everything else is off? I would want to see that chainset and the BB out of the frame

you can strip a bike completely with an allen key, spanner and mallet so it doesn't supprise me that they don't have a crank extractor or BB tool!

I asked the seller some questions yesterday and he mentioned that it has a dent by one of the bottle cage bolts. Might put a few people off.

If it wasn't for the dent I probably would have gone for this, who would want a dented frame though

it's shown in the third pic over the 'K' in KONA
You have better eyes than me. No doubt there is a dent there, but I can't see it in that picture!

And a dent that is hard to see is not structurally significant in my experience. There's been a visible shallow dent in my 97 Kilauea since I bought it in 1998. It hasn't got worse in that time, the paint isn't cracked and as an owner its practical significance is precisely zero.
