I went out for a bit of a bike ride today. On the way out of Brighton, I saw someone on a pristine Skyway BMX, with the matching shorts, shirt, cap etc. Apart from thinking he must be a bit cold (and probably missing a sony walkman), I didn't really think much else on that until a few hours later, when returning and spotted one or two more vintage BMX's parked up on the seafront.
Being nosey, I went and had a look and sure enough, it was old skool cool BMX's galore, many old bikes I recognised, many I didn't but all very nice and shiny.
The folks were friendly too and of course it would have been rude not to mention Retrobike. While a few knew of it, a few more it seems, had heard of B.E, or more accurately, as I was told, "Everyone knows Bendycat".
