I use a stove top Moka and an Aeropress at home, mainly with fresh beans and a little electric grinder, we also have a shop Aeropress but I use pre-ground beans as the Company pays.
The Aeropress is a brilliant thing, but I prefer the hot, strong coffee the Moka makes in the Morning.

My significantly better half got me a years subscription to these guys for Christmas: http://www.kopi.co.uk/ - I tend to have blown through the bag in a week, but its nice getting it through the post every month and trying new varietals you perhaps wouldn't normally try.
Personally I haven't had a coffee from one of the smaller/cheaper (<£250) machines that I have liked enough to justify the expense, when I worked in Hotels the Bar I ran had an awesome, very expensive machine which was marvelous, except for the fact that I tended to drink WAY too much coffee.
