ESP900 is compatible with Sram only. I thought Xray were Shimano specific.

ESP 9 is listed as 1:1

As is an ESP900 shifter. It was the first of them. 1:1 equiv of the SRT800.

He has a Woody ;-)

Just to add to this.

You can also use 'modern' SRAM shifters with ESP mechs. The 1:1 cable actuation ratio hasn't changed. So, if you like the woody rear mech but don't like grip shift style twist shifters, then you can use SRAM trigger style shifters if you want.

Does the front trigger shifter allow just 3 positions like Shimano ones do?
