here another replica of my small collection
the 1992/1993 Ceramiche ARIOSTEA teambike based on a Colnago Carbitubo
the TechSpec of the rebuild of the bike has been inspired by the workhorse of Danish dynamite "Ørnen fra Herning" Bjarne Riis within TdF of 1993

Wow, another absolute stunner! I never realised that the bar tape and frame highlight didn't match, the fluo doesn't show in the old photos and I always thought it was just yellow. Looks a bit strange and "not correct", but if that's what they were really like, then authenticity is more important than matching colours!

Yes it's easier to see in that photo, thanks! Maybe fluo bartape wasn't available at the time? I always liked the jersey when I was a kid, never had one though. Are they standard yellow, or fluo?

Beautiful bike, congratulations. And another one for the courage to set it up on top of that rock - can't imagine what would be with a dust of wind.... :)

Great looking machine... would I be right in saying that ALAN lugs and dropouts were used on the Colnago?

Yes indeed you are right - ALAN supported Colnage within the development and manufacturing of the Carbitubo - here is the story about

Great looking bike. The photo is tainted unfortunatly. The Örn fra Herning consumed something other than a popular energy drink to give him wings.
