Tuesday Sept 3 was a special day as this was they day I was having lunch with the Great Emperor Eddie Adkins & his lovely wife Jan together a great support of Ed & Jack Hearne Geoffrey Orange but more affectionately known as ‘Jaffa’ we met at the Bell Hotel in Winslow & unbeknown to Ed & Jan this tribute bike was going to be gifted to them again as a tribute to Ed in the sport he became champion & someone I looked upto & followed when I was a schoolboy in 77. There reactions on me announcing this as a gift was precious & will live with me for life & they were so gracious in receiving the bike. I had my wife witness this moment & I’m happy that the bike has gone to the rightful place as I leave the UK next year.

Definitely not but I’m sure it’ll be on show to friends family & former competitors which is far better than me having it in Cebu where no one knows who Eddie was & his achievements. The bikes in its rightful place as far as I’m concerned.
