btw - I think you'll find that's actually a mk1 Ellsworth Joker.

The swingarm is the mark1 version, whihc only ever came on the original ISIS and Joker models (not the Distance or later Jokers), and the gusset under the downtube/headtube join gives it away as a Joker.

Still great frames though, having owned both :-)

If you look very carefully you will see the swing arm is different (most notably at the main pivot vertical bar section) and the Distance did not have an under the down tube gusset at the headtube join.

They are subtly different. Timeline as follows:

- Single pivot 4 inch travel bike originally sold as Aeon ISIS (owned by Ellsworth but brands marketed separately)
- Aeon brand dropped, travel increased to 6inch by moving the upper shock mount and sold as Ellsworth Joker.
- Also sold as the Ellsworth Joker XC (or SL) with shock mounted in 4inch position lower down.
- Swingarm redesigned and travel increased on Joker to 7inch with shock in upper mount, and 5inch with it in lower mount, they are now sold as two different bikes and this is what became the Ellsworth Distance.
- Joker front end beefed up and redesigned to include 1.5 inch headtube.

They are all awesome bikes but what you have there is an early Ellsworth Joker, trust me, I used to sell them ;-)

Matt
