What I almost hate more than the politicians rhetoric, is that every tom, dick or harry turns in to a sneering political know it all.

I've voted and God help the next Government.

This ward has been Labour for decades, the local Tory mp being on record as saying he'd like to bulldoze half of it didn't do anything to change that ;)

However, the recent local election saw Labour winning by just 4 (possibly 5) votes. . . . . bit of luck the metaphorical size 10 of the locals will get them gone this time.

down with those unions!

where do come in to this? With membership falling year on year. Their power with in the Labour movement has been in long decline since Blair got in charge of the Labour party. And most of the conservative laws still place on Unions.
Look to the management and shop stewards if things aren't work correctly.

I did the poll expecting Labour or Conservative to have the bulk of the votes. Result so far quite a surprise.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be Ironic?

If not, It must be great at the top looking down on the little people. For millions of working class people, Unions have been the only way they have been able to fight for equality in the work place, safer working practices, safer working conditions and a living wage.

But hey! if you voted Tory, you wouldn't give a **** about any of that!

If it was Ironic,sorry!

al, My football team may be blue, but I sure as hell aren't. :D
