Eddy Merckx Replica Anyone Built One

I'm thinking of building an Eddy Merckx replica early 70's , I can't afford the real thing so the next best thing. The bike will be for me not to sell or anything
Has anyone ever done this, I have an early Peugeot PR10 frame that I want to do something with, and could be a good starting point


Any thought on this project?

Not daft. I am in Belgium and the local small adds are full of Merckx replicas, Colnago replicas and Gios replicas: some well done others...let’s just say less well done

Thanks for that. I just really like the looks of the orange ones, and I have this Peugeot frame kicking around. Just don't want to offend people as it were.
Strangely I am anti Campy stuff, but this is what it will take to make it decent :roll:

The photo in OP I think is a frame produced in the 70s/80s by Falcon the decals are the same although it looks as though the bits have been changed/updated
