Eddy Merckx - frame with Shimano 600 equipement

I have for sale Eddy Merckx frame with Shimano 600 equipement.

It has got "Tour de France" and "Giro d' Italia" stickers.

Size of frame (made of steel): 55cm. HOOKS - Brev. Campagnolo.

Original wrap, wires, cables, bottle cage, pedals Lyotard, noses Christophe

Saddle: Selle Royal, seat post - SR Royal

Stem: Cinelli

Ahead bearings: Tange Industries 1"

Equipement like: derailleurs, brakes, shifters and brake levers, bottom bracket and front chainwheel (52-42 teeth): Shimano 600.

Chain: Sram PC 58

Fork: original, Brugermann

Price: 375 Euro

Not a Merckx IMO , only the stickers are !

Looks authentic to me, just a very cheap Merckx although the Campagnolo drop outs are curious. Best of luck getting 375 euros for it - the bike's absolutely hanging...literally.

I see the remains of a 531 sticker on upper section of the downtube. I've not seen that position used on a bike of that vintage though. The usual place was the top of the seatube until the mid 80's.

Looks like a Barton-on-Humber Falcon Made Mercx..... or the belgian / Kessels counterpart. They both had the licence to use his name..

PS The pink of that giro d'italia sticker was the pink I chose for my Falcon San-Remo

There's a Kessels decal on the seat tube. Kessels built some of the team bikes at one time. I reckon it could be a better frame than originally thought (especially if it is 531, there are the remains of decals on the DT and forks), the lugs are nicely filed, Campag ends with no mudguard eyes, and there is a reinforced rear brake bridge and cut-out bottom bracket shell - but the condition is not very good sadly.
