Ebayer Overpowered Mike

I haven't come across them/him/her! But that doesn't mean that noone else on here hasn't come across them. Why? Have you had a bad experience with them?

Not so much bad yet more annoying. I put some stuff on ebay including the left over srp bolts that didn't sell on here, and I'd clearly marked in big red writing UK postage only.

I've not got a huge problem with posting to places other than UK its just that getting postage right is a nightmare as I've been stung on it before, that and I dont think your covered if anything goes wrong. This guy overpoweredmike brought them on buy it now and lives in France, so i messaged him to ask if he had a UK postal address to post them too.

He responded with something with along the lines of no he doesn't but its no more difficult to post to France than within the UK, now fair enough maybe it isn't a whole lot more difficult but I thought with it saying UK postage only nice and clearly he could of at least messaged and asked if it was ok first before buying. I don't know maybe I'm just being a bit picky and used to people with common decency on here.

A bit late now, but when you list the item you can restrict the bidding to UK bidders only to avoid this in the future.

People are always doing this, I always put UK bidders only, only UK postage and probably 1 in 5 of the buyers will be someone from abroad.

Package the bolts up, weigh the pack, and then work out the cost with Royal Mail. Tell him you will only send them Airsure (tracked), I know it doesn't actually track when it's left the UK, but everything I've ever sent has confirmed as delivered. Add the addition cost to whatever the UK cost was and amend the Invoice (if you have already sent him one)

* - If he has already paid, refund him, and re-invoice him for the correct total

Ah he's not paid yet, have told him a price to cover costs though, its just his general attitude as well though to be fair as if I owe him or something. He's lucky it was the better half that replied with me being at work as I wouldn't of been as polite and I'd of re listed them

As to the general attitude tell him to naff off and try reading the ad's properly,no means no.
Any bad feedback will be deleted by ebay never fear.He broke the rules by attempting to purchase something from a country that doesnt do international postage
Then tell him to lose the smartarse attitude as it doesnt sit well with many people.
