GT Kara

Paintwork is pretty faded actually - supposed to be bright red. All too common in Karas of that vintage unfortunately...

no, I think this has survived quite well and was orange.

Whoa, you really went to a lot of effort there!

Let me put it another way. As far as I remember, the Kara came in two colour options that year - splatter red and splatter (navy) blue.

My Kara is red, the Kara that my brother had new bitd was red, and the bashed up Kara that someone locks up outside my gym in London is red.

Still, quality control in 91/92 was probably not all that, so who can say...

The 91 Karakoram came in red splatter and was mostly LX/DX equipped. The 91 Karakoram Elite came in blue splatter "night sky" and was full DX equipped.
