There’s a long story surrounding why I bought a new Scandium Kula Primo back in 2003. They were sold as a frame only for £650 I recall, and didn’t feature in the 2003 Catalogue. Anthony astonished me by saying that he had never seen one in a picture or in the flesh. Blimey, I was so pleased to be able to show Anthony something that he hadn’t seen!
He pointed out to me that the Kula Primo had replaced the Explosif in the Kona Hierarchy (both the 2000 and the 2001 Explosif being made from Scandium).

That's cool - apologies if I've asked before, do you have any pictures / build threads for the Kula and your other bikes?
I'm very curious about this Explosif. I'll put the tube-set to one side ;-) I wonder just how much of the Explosif twitchiness remains...not much I'd guess.
.... Crikey, that alone is worth some of the amount that it cost me!
